Lab
Lab's specifications
Microbiological and physicochemical analyses are carried out in our lab. We count on the necessary tools and equipment to perform such analyses to guarantee the validity of the results.

At building level, our lab is made up by a physicochemical area, a microbiology area, a heating room, cultivation room, an office, bathrooms, changing rooms and a washing place.

The working team is made up by professionals, technicians and auxiliarypersonnel that carry out tasks related to a testing lab.

Microbiologic analysis
The tests are performed from product samples taken by the Quality Control person in charge. These samples are processed by technicians who prepare the samples for each analysis to cultivate them in the appropriate heaters at temperatures according to the development of the germ being analyzed.

The lab has cultivation heaters, freezer, vortex, colony counters, cultivation rooms with UV light, hazard safety cabins, sterilization heaters, thermostatic baths, fridges, autoclave, stomacher, PCR equipment, etc. to be able to perform the processes for the corresponding microbiological analyses.
Half carcasses, counters, cutting conveyors and end product (export, domestic cuts and hamburgers) swab analyses are performed as well as water sample tests.

The microorganisms being analyzed are those indicating inadequate hygiene practices. Pathogens are also searched for.

The results of the aforementioned analyses are informed to the Production and Quality areas so as to analyze the performance of the product and the environment and to guarantee the products and processes' aptitude and to ratify their monitoring and control.

The production and quality areas are those executing the necessary corrective actions to fix deviations if there were any.

Our lab can provide services to third parties.
